Learn more about BFMR TrackForMe Chrome Extension
What is TrackForMe?
TrackForMe is a Google Chrome extension that automatically sends and syncs order information for multiple Amazon accounts to My Tracker. Add it to your Chrome profile and it will start working instantly. For any package shipped to one of our addresses, TrackForMe will automatically capture the order number, item names, quantity, and tracking numbers. It will also monitor for any changes to your order (like the tracking number) and update My Tracker for you. We'll do the legwork for you, so you don't have to.
Why should I use TrackForMe?
We built TrackForMe to help reduce some of your manual legwork. It can be a breath of fresh air to order something and forget about it. With TrackForMe, you will save time, maintain order accuracy, reduce errors, avoid order number timer expirations, and do less work overall so you can earn more.
How do I set up TrackForMe?
- TrackForMe only works on desktop. For the best experience, create separate Chrome profiles (learn how here) for each Amazon account you want to sync with My Tracker.
- Open the first Chrome profile you’ve created for your first Amazon account to sync.
- Click here to download the TrackForMe Chrome extension to that Chrome profile.
- Follow the onscreen prompts and instructions.
- In this Chrome profile, sign into the Amazon account you’d like to sync
- TrackForMe will intermittently open and close Amazon tabs in this Chrome profile.
- You can close tabs in this Chrome profile, but you can not close out the entire window or orders will no longer sync. Minimizing is fine.
- Note - you’ll still need to reserve items on our site, so make sure you do that or TrackForMe won’t sync.
- To sync multiple Amazon accounts with BFMR’s My Tracker, repeat the steps above.
What privacy and security measures are in place for TrackForMe?
We kept privacy and security top of mind when building TrackForMe.
-TrackForMe only scans the “Orders” page on Amazon and nothing else.
- After it scans these pages, it then only looks for packages shipped to our zip codes.
- Once it finds those packages, it only scans for the following:
- Order number
- Items
- Quantity
- Order date
- Shipping address
- Amazon order status
- Tracking number
- Delivery date
- Technically, if it’s in the Amazon “Orders” page, then TrackForMe may scan for it.
- However, the information stored by BFMR only applies to orders shipped to our zip codes.
- Each BFMR account is given a unique API key that will link only to your BFMR account.
What are some TrackForMe limitations?
- It only works for Amazon purchases.
- It is limited to the Chrome browser.
- It tracks orders over the past 45 days.
- You must be signed into the Amazon account you want to sync.
- You need to reserve items on our site to ensure TrackForMe syncs your orders.
