How do I file a claim?
Should an issue arise with your package, file a claim to begin the reimbursement process. Important: You must file a claim within 30 days of the delivery or expected delivery date.
1. Before filing a claim *(Required)*:
- Cross-check your delivery or expected delivery date against the date of packages we are currently processing. If we have caught up to your package and you notice an issue, move onto the next step.
- Confirm the ship-to address follows our guidelines. If it does not, your claim may be denied.
- Submit an Insurance Ticket with BFMR Support. If we are unable to resolve your issue, move onto the next step.
- Contact the retailer and request a refund or resolution. Important: you will be required to provide proof of refund denial from the retailer in order to submit a claim.
2. Filing a claim:
Once the above steps are completed:
- To access your Certificate, visit the Insurance tab in the navigation menu or click the “Insured” button in My Tracker and then the Certificate Number. Next "Click here for Claim Guidance", then "File a Claim Online".
- Prepare and upload all required documentation.
3. Reimbursement:
Your claim will be reviewed and if/when approved, you will receive an email notification and the option of a check in the mail or a bank wire.
